It keeps you away from the distractions that are caused by your favorite social media apps. It turns off all the notifications and messages from these apps.
'Digital Wellbeing' is now a part of modern smartphones. It is a tool that is used to block distractions from your phone. It is synonymous with the 'Do not disturb mode. Digital wellbeing is a tool to enable focus mode on your phones.
What is Focus Mode?
Focus Mode as the name suggests is a way to eliminate distraction. It is an idea to keep you well-focused. The simple idea is that you turn on the focus mode and it blocks all the notifications from your phone. Here is how you can do this.
Focus mode on Samsung:
Focus mode on Samsung devices works in a different way. Instead of blocking apps, it asks to add apps to be enabled during Focus Mode and the rest of the apps will be blocked.
First, swipe down the notification bar from the top and tap the setting icon.
Next tap on the Digital Wellbeing and Parental Control icon:
Then tap on the "Add" icon:
If you are creating focus Mode for the first time then give it a name and tap 'save':
After creating a Focus Mode chose the apps that you want to recieve notifications for and and tap on the 'start' button:
After this the Focus Mode will be enabled and all the other apps will be blocked and you won't receive any notification until you end the focus mode:
You can also add the Digital wellbeing icon on the home screen by enabling the option:
That's all you have to do to enable Focus Mode in Samsung and it will provide a better usage habit and will eliminate distractions.
